Question by A.B.: What’s a better cruise line, Carnival or Princess?
We have cruised with Royal Carribean and we loved it. My wife and I are 28 and 30 years old and want a cruise line that isn’t all older people. We enjoy the bars, clubs, parties, but also good food and a nice, clean ship. What would you recommend?

im planning a cruise in december to go to the eastern carribean. i want to find out which cruise line is the best. like activities, food,and service.

That depends on you.

Activities on Carnival are “Fun Ship” based, and include things like hairy chest contests, pool games, towel folding demonstrations, and the like. Royal Caribbean is more likely to provide tours of parts of the ship, big band dancing, and the like.

Both have Bingo, Shows and other entertainment, casinos with all kinds of activities, pool games of some sort, karaoke, movies, kids events, and the like. The food is comparable with Carnival having a slight edge, and service is, IMHO, identical on the two.

I personally like Royal Caribbean more, but I am older (52) and like dancing.

The cruise passenger reporting the news from onboard is from a Royal Caribbean commercial not Carnival.

Royal Caribbean is an excellent cruise line. They have lots of activities and cater to all ages. I’ve cruised with them multiple times and the service and food is always excellent. I’ve cruised with carnival too but they aren’t as good as royal caribbean.
