Carnival is the most affordable cruise line and the largest cruise line corp in the world. Another option would be Royal caribbean. It may cost a little more but the ships have more amenities, such as ice skating rink and rock walls..A good website to compare prices and book is ..

Well it depends on what size ship you prefer .Now i have been on The Grand Princess and The azura ,and both are very big beautiful ships ,This May i am going on Independence of the seas.Another huge ship .The other two were brilliant. When you book a cruise all your meals are paid for ,and your entertainment .You can have free ice creme as well .You naturally pay if you play bingo ,or go to the casino ,or if you want a spa treatment you pay for that as well .Also any excursions you book will have to be paid for .You don’t actually pay money ,as when you go on the ship they will take your debit card details and you will be given a plastic card that you show eg if you want a drink or book excursion’s .Then at the end of your cruise you will have a final bill .Then when you come home the amount owed is taken off your debit card .GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY.

Question by Catsrule362: I am going on a cruise without my parents and need to write a letter to the cruise line to go?
Now see I am going on a cruise on the Norweigan Cruise Lines and since I am going with my grandmother I need a letter written to the cruise line about allowing me to go by my legal guardian a.k.a my mom and dad… My mom doesn’t want to make something up so would you guys have any ideas as to what an acceptable letter would be?

Keep it simple. Just have your Mom and dad say they give their permission for my daughter/or son + your name to go on a cruise with his/her grandparents named such and such. Have then sign and date the letter. Then have them call the cruise company and ask them if this letter is OK?

Question by parkerpjd: Who would be a better cruise line to take to Alaska, Royal Caribbean or Princess Cruises?
My Grandmother, Sister and I are going to Alaska and I am wanting to know who would be a better cruise line to take. My Grandmother has taken a cruise to Australia with Princess Cruises, and she loved the service and food. So we are considering going with them, but the also have alot of older people there, and they aren’t as kid friendly as Royal Caribbean is. Does Royal Caribbean have good food and service like Princess. Also I love Photography and Videography, so if any of you have tips or ideas of places to see or do, Please let me know

Question by Shelly: I’m looking to go on my first cruise. What’s a good cruise line to go with?
I’m looking for a West Caribbean cruise. Not much of a partier, so I’ve ruled out Carnival cruises. Norwegian Cruise Lines seems to be the most promising (Ship: Norwegian Pearl). Anyone have any experience with this cruise line, or suggestions for other cruises?
Thanks.

i went on a carnival cruise and i am also not a partier. i’ve also been on princess cruises. i have to honestly say that carnival was much much better. you definitely dont have to be a partier to go on a carnival cruise, you just have to like to have fun. i will say that dinner and the whole cruise in general is very laid back and can be loud. its more for families or the younger crowd, and isnt geared towards older couples. it all depends on your age and what you like. but you most definitely dont have to enjoy partying to go on a carnival cruise. and as for norwegian, i have never been on a norwegian cruise.. but my cousin recently came back from one and said that carnival was much better because with norwegian you have to wait a long time for dinner and dont get to know your room steward or waiter since it is always different, which is one of the best parts of a cruise. i apologize for the long answer
